The Independents [2023]
Commissioned by Utter Nonsense, over the course of four months, I walked around Great Yarmouth’s town centre and surrounding areas meeting various traders. Starting conversations about what they do, why they do it, and how they have fared through the turbulence of the recent years.
‘The Independents’ is a portrait of independent trade in Great Yarmouth, celebrating and spotlighting those who passionately serve the town and its visitors, all year round.
‘The Independents’ was shown as part of a free, publicly accessible gallery exhibition hosted by originalprojects; at PrimeYarc Gallery, Great Yarmouth from the 3rd of June to the 2nd of July 2023.
